No one had answer to last post in "general", But thru trial and trial found you wount get signal w/o lnb power on each stb. Also they got two of the four stb's up w/119 & 110 on them. STB 1 in port 1 of lnb with setting of 119 port 1 & 110 port 2. STB 2 in port 4 of lnb would only see 110 until the port setting change of 119 p-2 & 110 p-1. Still have problem with stb 2 & 3. Tried previous with 2 & 3 but they will only see 110. Any help appreciated.

This set up (1 Quad, 4 lines, no switches) based off Quad thread search finds from "SatelliteJunkie" & "gremlin411".

i think im a bit confused. do you have a dish with 2 quad LNB's ?
is it a DP series with the switch built in ?
are you trying to get more than 2 birds or just trying to get the 4 STBs going.

1dp quad for 4 stbs. they were tring for no switches.

you should have 1 line to each STB. you should use port 1 for 119 and port 2 for 110. the switch is built into the LNB. you need to have the LNB type to ocs-dp , 22 k off, switch on, lnb power on. tp freq for 119 is 12239, 12224 for 110. make sure you dont have any switch, splitter or anything else from the LNB to the STB.

if that doesnt work i guess i dont have a clue.

I need help understand what is going on with my system. Recently it has been going funny, like 110 w will come up with no info on guide but if we leave it there for a few minute it comes back but then when we go off guide it will do the same. Then 119 does the same is there a problem with my system like does it need a new bin. Also I noticed on the sat setup when you go to 119 on the list underneath the map it says ecostar 7 but on the map it is say 8-10 110w is this something that we did or is it in need of help. Please explain. Be kind to me I am new at this.
