ExtremeView Magnum XV3300 Setting it Up

Set up for the ExtremeView Magnum XV3300

Download xdown (or latest download tool) and the latest bin file into the same folder

Make sure your serial cable is plugged in and the Magnum is powered "OFF" .

Power "OFF" the magnum via the rear on/off switch, attach the serial cable to PC and Magnum

Double click the "xdown" icon.

Click "File --> Send" and select the latest bin file.

Power the Magnum "ON" via the rear panel switch.

The software and the receiver will start counting up to 100, then the

Receiver will show "FLSh", meaning it's flashing the EEPROM.

Wait until the receiver says "GOOD", then cycle the power button OFF and ON in the back.

That's it!

Now you can setup your satellites, or if that has already been done, watch TV!
