Signal vs quality.

Hello all,
I am trying to set up an extremeview mag 3300 for a friend. I set a dish up and all i get is signal 80% quality 5% then 0% then 5%. Could it be something in the box settings i may have to change? or is it possible i don't get any quality because i am trying to go set up up in a heavily wooded area. i see the sky but it is surely going thru some trees. any help would be greately appreciated.

Could be a problem with the trees, you need the quality to be up.

see what is really strange is they had a used directv set up they hooked up and it worked for 2 days b4 directv stopped it. so i think that you can pick up a sat signal from the location.
