ExtremeView xv3300 is dead...won't boot

Has any one been able to revive a Extremeview box ?? I was converting back from a maggie to a skyviewplus1000 and now the box will not boot.

do I need to JTAG? has any one successfully done this??

any ideas or thoughts is appreciated...

also will cloning from one maggie to another work ?? i have 2 maggies...one of which is dead now...

I also converted a maggie into a skyview and tried to reconvert back and did not really understand the instructions posted here. Needless to say....the box is non functional. Lesson learned......never download anything into your box except the fixes from the coders. Be patient. My other mag that I did not touch is perfect.

i tried the mag vir kit but still nothing... the front panel on the maggie dont even light up.. anyone else experiance this?

Hey tone1----you have flashed your maggie, no kit that I am aware of will fix her properly. There was some indications that if you still have your original receipt for the unit that Extremeview Canada fixes them for free. However at the present prices you`d be better off probably buying another one rather than paying postage etc. and waiting forever to get her back. I have a maggie only used for skyview and one only using reg files. Converting can be hazardous as you have found out--the way there is easy --the way back can kill your unit. Good luck
