I've turned my Fortec Ultra to Pansat 2500....seems to work a lot better then fortec.... I get a lot more channels that for sure....

When doing that, you also have to use a different remote? Am I correct in thinking this?

i have used both and let me tell you........the pansat 2700 way better then coosat by far.. from picture quality to setting up ...my 2700 ROCKS the coosat 4000 pro is in the basement! if only i new..

pansat are popular becuse they have been around since the start with the big ugly dish.they are well made.and for the price you get more then you pay for.and since this is the case you can find tons of info and software for them.and they are easy to use.great pic fast channle change.just all around great.2700a here.

haha.wish there was a way to try out a few diff ones.you know the thing i dont like about pansat is the remote.it feels "cheap"but man the receiver works great.

As far a s remotes the 2500A remote seems cheapy, in the other hand the 2700A it has more options
