Correct me if I am wrong, Kbox doesn't have an HD model.

Re: If you have or planning to buy an HD box
1. The SV8000 with ihxb seems to have the most American HD channels. I believe there are about 30. Stability comes and goes and installation can be difficult for some people with limited technical knowledge.
2. NFusion has only a handful of American HD channels (like 5?) Some say it is much more stable and definitely easier to setup, but the picture quality is lower than that of Sonicview (in HD). NFusion also has 20 or so HD channels on Bev 82, but many of these networks are Canadian (and this satellite can be difficult to pick up in some parts of the US).

Re: If you have or planning to buy an HD box
If SonicView restored their bev channels than they would have my vote because of their hd picture quality. Even their non hd channels on bev91
looked good but,SonicView stopped showing them.

Re: If you have or planning to buy an HD box
i have had my nfusion HD to see it in action before this n3 took effect and i have no complaints what so ever .i cant compare to sv because i havent owned one. as far as picture on the nf HD i think its real nice and i am lucky enough to have 82w. this reciever has been very good to me including the other 2 models and to be honest i wouldnt trade it for any other reciever. i dont work for nfusion or am i going to tell you or any one to purchase one ,find someone if possible that has the reciever and check it out first hand. good luck in your search.

Unfortunatley SV just doesn't compete.

Re: If you have or planning to buy an HD box
The one you would want now is the nfusion, just because its currently working best...but the best models are the ones produced by sonicview and the captiveworks hd box is excellent as well.
