De la Hoya should have retired as a winner and not have fought this fight.
Mayweather was faster and more powerful then the old man.
To much hype before the fight that did not live up to it.

I was expecting a much better fight. At the end of it all it was basically the usual Mayweather fight. Hit retreat,hit retreat.hit retreat!!
Stand up and fight like a man ya punk!
I give De La Hoya credit for making the most of it. He put in a lot of effort only to be left with the loss.
I can hardly wait to see someone come along and defeat Mayweather. I feel he has taken boxing away from the sport and is turning it into his own little circus. Hopefully the day will come when someone puts this little arrogant, obnoxious son of a bi*** in his place! Which will be on his back anywhere in the ring which was designed for the art of boxing.
And hopefully someone will do this before the clown retires rich and smiling.

Did I watch the same fight? Mayweather ran from Delahoya about half the fight. Mayweather never once hurt the champ! To take a chmpions belt I thought you had to take the fight to him? That's why I never watch boxing again it's a joke. UFC's much better you can't run much in that cage.

yep, mayweather ran his lil punk a## around the ring. Delahoya won the fight hands down. Those so called power punches of mayweathers connected very little times. Oscar connected with many more...That why the integrity of the sport is gone...Thats why The ufc and pride are ruling the nation now. Oh yeah, you must remember the mayweather delehoya fight was in Vegas. Too **** much money involved for it too be fair...Screw boxing

yep they are both fags and would be ate alive in any cage fight . . i used to really like boxing but it has become so tainted and corupted . . the only way to win any fight in boxing and hope to escape the politics is to knock that ****er out . . mayweather is weak and he ran like a *****, but DeLahoya is also lame for not cutting him off and making him pay. my $.2
