Re: what receiver are you using in 2008
I'm using the CS 5000 & 6000. Just ordered a CS8100HD. I've had the viewsat ultra, liked it until I burned it up. Also had the pansat 2700 returned it and got the 3500 which was great at that time. Hope the 8100 works out if not then here comes the 9000

testing the captiveworks 600 and the nfusion nova, that neosat ipro 2000 plus is looking pretty sweet though.

Believe it or not, still waiting with my neusat 6000 premium receiver for a new file. Can't afford to buy a new receiver and still getting all the locals (100 channels) and headline news and Cnn.

Re: what receiver are you using in 2008
I saw the Pansat logo but didn't have the 3500 listed. I am using it at present but hope to upgrade to the 9200.

Re: what receiver are you using in 2008
You guys have got to be kiddin me, no one comments on the Nfusion. Look here, I have 4 CW600s Prem. & I love them dearly but some how I managed to try out the Nfusion.....and it's all gravy. This Nfusion has never went down on me (ok you perverts. you know what I mean). I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I don't even use my CW in my bed room anymore & it takes me forever to load the kids CW because I don't even think about. I mean this Nfusion has really got me in another world.

Re: what receiver are you using in 2008
Have 2 VS Extremes and very happy. Wondering if I will have to go to the 9000 when analog goes away and all is HD, though. Coders are quick with VS and it is very user friendly.

Re: what receiver are you using in 2008
I didnt see my choice in the poll but I wanted to share... very nice sticky!
I am still using the same fta that I was using in 2005. the old 1020a dvb pci card and mytheatre software with bev hd support and tivo. but for times of interupted service these days I am using the nfussion iks. if you were to ask which one i would predict I would be using at the end of 2008 I think I would have to bet on the 1020a, as the pile of stb's brands that no longer work or have discontinued support is the pile that seems to be the larger. even the nfussion has all ready discontinued support of its stand alone features. I personally do not find the risk of keeping the iks hooked up 24x7 and the added cost of internet to watching tv to be a step foreward. but between the 2 systems i hope to stay up on my tv in 2008. its easier than trying to protect the plastic or jataging a receiver....i hated that

Re: what receiver are you using in 2008
sorry for the add on post, i didnt see edit?
i a purchase an upgrade in the dvb card department . the azurware 1028 however at the time I made the purchase reliable solid drivers for the card to work with vista was a problem....i am hoping the relase of vista sp1 and time for azzurware to make more compliante drivers resolves this and that would be the card that goes the distance.
