have 2 viewsat ultras very good picture quality fast fixes hard combo to beat i also just purchased a nfusion just my luck had it 3 days an it was down an my viewsat was up now thats out of the norm but i think between the to i am as good as i am going to get an did i mention the viewsat has a little sharper picture than the nfusion but it hard to tell the diferance i think all recievers its just who can get the fixes first an coolsat has fallen way behind

I have been getting accustomed to the CNX Trio. Nice unit and getting back up after a ECM is quick and painless.

Re: what receiver are you using in 2008

LOL...they dropped support for this unit in November last year.

Unlike Coolsat though, they offered an upgrade program.

CNX has a great line up now with support. The V1 was an admitted mistake and we have all moved on together.

As far as PVR's go the Trio can't be beat.

Thumbs up Re: what receiver are you using in 2008

Just retired 3 Coolsat 4000s and 1 Coolsat 6000. I purchased 2 Sonicview 4000s last summer and am very happy with them (in fact, I was surprised to see in the poll results that Viewsat is still so far out in front of Sonicview for sets in use in 2008).

The old Coolsats, I am afraid, simply were not receiving fixes fast enough or that would last long enough for me. However, there is no better box than the good ol' CS 4000 pro for lining up a dish. I never use a satfinder - just my old (black) CS 4000.
