Re: Experience

I've bee testing before satellite (DTV), cable was first so who was I to be deprived. Then DTV for years, why not go with actual system, since they got picky I incorporated fta into my skills set. FTA has been around longer then ten years we used to have those 10ft dihes in the beginning. Working on FIOS!

Re: Experience

Way too long and not long enough i guess. Still lots to learn even though i've been "in the game' fo quite some awhile. Nothing and i mean nothing beats the old days. less people around and nobody really cared back then. Now there is a dish on every house and not always for legal satellite.

Re: Experience

When did MTV make its debut? I guess its been about 25 years. Our first setup was a 10 foot mesh dish with a Chaparral Monteray Receiver with an A5 board running the show..
Been playing with the big uglys for years. Then the little fella's came on the scene Direct, Hughes, Bev, ****..etc
Setups sure have changed over the years and now FTA is the number 1 setup ..
Awesome!! Whats next down the road

Wow Rick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!now thats along time! Never heard of such a thing! I dated a girl back then and they had money, they had this huge dish that was motorized and I can remember when he would push a button for the motor on the dish to switch sats!!! Funny this fta has alot of history to it!
