how many want a receiver that could feed 2 tv's independently?

how many want a receiver that could feed 2 tv's independently?

a VERY common question around is,is there an fta receiver that would allow me to watch on two tvs will full independent channels.
there currently is not a dual tuner fta receiver that works this way.the question is,how many really would want a true dual tuner that also fed two tv's?

it would have to have UHF remote capabilities.this way one remote would be UHF for the other room/floor.

Well that would certainly put the manufacturer of that stb far and away above the rest as long as the support came with it.

I would by it in a heart beat.

I do, I do ... but again it is the remote issue. Never got my extenders. Paid for them, never arrived, but the company was kind enough to issue a credit back to my visa.... but alas, no money now. Poor LV

Re: how many want a receiver that could feed 2 tv's independently?

For me it all would come down to cost and convenience. The channel changing issue kinda means you need to have 'something' in the room with the second TV, even if it's a relay box. And to be brutally honest, I still am astonished that a typical STB costs less than half what a crappy-quality laptop computer costs, so I would not pay $300 for a dual-TV STB if I could buy two "real" ones for $150 each.

And remember, my opinion plus two bucks gets you a cup of coffee.....

This would be great! There should be no problem with changing channels through RF (radio frequency) the same way dual tuner DN units work now. You need to run additional cable to receiver and one to tv in different room!

Bluetooth remotes are the best way to go....... The device will be identified and able to control exactly what you want it to without interfering @ all. No base, good range.

I would not buy one because either way your still running two sets of wires, you may be able to watch independent programing but my 360 can already do that. Add bluetooth to the 360 elite and thats the box your looking for. Wait change my vote.... I would buy that

First off I would like to say this is a great site.

I would buy one also, but don't see too many stb manufactures stepping up to produce when they can sell you two.
