Re: Who uses Sub Service and FTA
I now fall into the Fta only catagory...
I recently had to give up my DTV because of job loss and cutbacks....
I had the best of both worlds for years...
Now it's just me and my pannys.....(and maybe a satopia will be added soon =)

Thanks I have been leaning a lot. Much of this seems complicated but I imagine that it will make much more sense when I have the actual equipment in hand.
With the new digital rabit ears we get 35 chanels over the air. Some are just weather though. Would that be adequate to get through the down times? Not taking into account N3. It seems that is its own set of problems and will force some into a more stable service.

Re: Who uses Sub Service and FTA
if your using dn and bev through an free to air receiver, and its your main source, then what your doing is not a hobby, and its just you being cheap... Always a great idea to have dn and bev or whatever else you may have on your fta receiver as a back up to your subbed accounts. Plus if you are paying for dn or bev, its less likely they will bust a paying client. lol
