An remember when working with usb's ALWAYS have a clean stick, Fat-32 for 512 an 256mb sticks, fat-16 for 128mb an smaller sticks, an never use a stick with U-2 or U-3 or right proctect on them, an no sticks bigger than 512mb. people will say that they have used larger sticks, but it is not recomnded at all, to use a stick bigger than 512mb, you can corrupt the memory of the receiver real easy with a bigger stick.

I tried putting 288 on while hooked up to the computer also, because I can't get anything to register or come on once hooked up to the TV, but I will try just doing the factory firmware with the cable and USB stick for the 288. I removed the module and tried everything to get it up and running (in case the module was defective) but no change. It has something to do with whatever makes the display on the front work, plus it will NOT reboot, even with a hard reboot it is black. Thanks for all the info
