Grasshopper--

I intended to purchase a NFusion Nova (prices ranging from $170-240+)yesterday until I started reading about the Neostat IPro 2000 that was upgraded to the IPro 2000 Plus. Now I am really confused.

What I don't want to do is purchase something that has older technology that the manufacturer is about to upgrade. I don't want last week's cake! At the same time I want to be able to use a wireless connection between the receiver and my computer AND I WOULD LIKE IT TO WORK, WORK & WORK, not like my Cooools 4K & 5K. Further, I prefer a USP interface if available rather than the older RS232.

Picture quality! I certainly am impressed with the quality of my SC1000, but will not consider purchasing a SC4000. That would put tooo many eggs into one basket as I did with the CS 4& 5K's. What will I picture quality will I sacrifice with either the NFusion or the newer Neostat?

There is a card change in our future. Don't know how this is going to be handled by Chuck. He has quite a few cardless receivers out in the field such as the 311 IRD. But change is inevitable. My simplistic belief is there is enough money out there making products such as fta's along with stuff that is IKS so the larger manufacturers most likely will prevail with usable upgrades.

I feel like I am spinning my mouse as I type. I am in a quandary and yes, I have read as many trade offs as I can find. I don't know where to put my money. Is there anything that you can provide in the way of overlooked trade offs to help me with a decision?

Thanks--
