the iks/dongle fixes will be used for when you want to run the stb hooked up to the internet.
you will need to purchase this adapter "dongle".and hook to a constant internet source.
iks= internet key sharing.its another method used to keep tv up.
the legal uses for it is to use for checking the weather and playing games and stuff.
