pantec jtag
download pantec ms repair files and extract with winzip to desktop. Take out the internet page from the folder that appears, it has the blue e on it, put that on the desktop. Click on it to show how to jtag the pantec. The files you need are added also.

I got this from another site, said it was a mx ultra.
Not fun to solder, but works like a charm.
TRST= Pin 109 ( or to R59 )
TMS = Pin 110 ( or to R52 )
TDO = Pin 111 ( must go direct on cpu pin)
TDI = Pin 112 ( or R54 )
TCK = Pin 113 ( or R53 )
GND = Connected to chasis.

Same Here
I have the same pantec and no idea where to jtag it, help would be great. Sounds like I have a cheap nonrepairable reciever. Do I jump off of any of the pins connected to the face or power supply?

Re: VORTEX-Pro 7700 "Clone of Pansat"
I have Vortex 7700 is also dead as a door nail!!! the new bin I have down loaded was a clone killer ..although it said safe....
My question is also same as the other's...I would like to know in a detailed form, how to Jtag a 2500A!!!! in my case a VORTEX 7700, which is a Pansat clone.
Every experienced member in this case, is giving us the neccesary files but never mentions ...HOW TO DO IT!!!!!
So ...if it is not a BIG PROBLEM for you, men of VISDOM, please give a detailed describtion of how to Jtag so that we the less informed MEMBERS can benefit from your KNOWLEDGE!!!
