Re: What is the best box for true fta?
Well, it's easy to set up, the installation wizard walks you through it, and it automatically scans the channels. The software can be updated (or changed, for testing) by USB or off the web. I had trouble setting up the internet connection because I am on a home network and it had issues with the settings (I think) but I'm not sure. Maybe that's why I could not connect to the IKS service and was down a lot of the time. But I got it figured out.
But the picture quality is very good, the remote a little akward (my Misses complains), the menus take a little getting used to where to look for what function. Sometimes it gets stuck and you have to reboot it, but you can usually recover or fix the problem.
This is my first unit, so you might want to keep asking around for more opinions on this and other units. I heard the Nfusions and Captains were good. Good Luck!
