You need to hook your line from your sat to the top post on tuner 1 (LNB IN) if you have only one line from your sat then you can put a line from tuner 1 out to tuner 2 in. Then in your sat menu have tuner 1 set to separate and tuner 2 set to loop. You have to use the RCA plugs either Y. Pb,
Pr and connect to your tv if it has the same color and type input. If your TV does not the use the RCA plugs from yellow, red, white to the input on your tv red, yellow and white. I hooked mine up fast on Friday and this unit does not have vcr out like my CW and SV-4000. I was wrong when I told you about the 3/4 switch on the back. I hope this helps.
