My CaptiveWorks 700S down on DN & BEV
My Neosat iPro 2000 + is up on both DN & BEV
SETTINGS: Autoroll: OFF - IKS Autoroll: ON - IKS ONLY: ON
Sometimes there is a long delay in channel changing especially when I am switching from a BEV channel to a DN channel or vice versa. I found that I can resolve this by hitting the f4 key from a full screen picture of the channel I wish to view and do a user disconnect (green key on RC) and then a reconnect (red key on RC) and see if I get a key. If server disconnects try again, quite often on second try it will logon ok and get a key - if not then just use the (volume control on RC) to scroll to another server and hit the disconnect (green key on RC) and then a reconnect (red key on RC) until you get a key change. If it is working the picture will show while in the f4 IKS Panel, hit exit and you might experience a few seconds where the picture goes blank but it should reappear within a few seconds. I was watching "Garfield" (Premium Channel on DN) now tuned into "Botched" a PPV on BEV (Vu 18 - 1368).
As for my
CaptiveWorks
- still have confidence that they will have a fix and as usual be one of the first to release a new bin.
As for my
Coolsat 4000 Pro
-
WAS GOING TO USE IT AS A DOOR STOP - BUT THOUGHT ABOUT THAT - AND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT WOULD BE AN INSULT TO MY POOR INNOCENT DOOR. Doesn't matter how good an STB is - without support they are nothing - as in worthless and I for one would never own another COOLSAT
or any of the various BRAND NAMES that they are now using on their STB's -
They can't be trusted to provide continuous support for their boxes; EXAMPLE: The COOLSAT 6000 was still being sold in stores through November 2007 - which means that people were putting out their $ for a COOLSAT box just a few months ago to now find out that what support there is comes very very late after each ecm if at all.
