You can go to my computer and find it as drive E or F and click on it and if you look in the lower left corner of the screen is details click on it if it is closed and it should say FAT if not closr the window and right click on the stick and options should pop up and click on FAT and it will formatt it for you O.K. A new thumb drive should be plugged in and left for a few minuates to be checked for faults
