Thank you arboristman for your review of the Metabox HD 8001 x. I have been searching for a new IRD and came across this one. This looks to be quite a bit more high tech than my current Pansat 9200HD. A couple of things come to mind before I purchase one. Does this unit have any blind search capabilities? I haven't seen anything mentioned so I gather it probably doesn't. If it does have built in blind search does it support both DVB and DVB-S2? Does this support regular DVB-S2 QPSK and 8PSK non turbo out of the box and then added support for Turbo 8PSK with the additional module?
