Removed feature: vB Reputation - ABA DSS

We have decided to remove vb reputation from ABADSS. It has been manipulated by users who are "trading" reputation back and forth which then inflated many users reputation level greatly. Also, we feel that with "Thanks" function already implemented and the new credits function there are more than enough addons.

Somehow I always forgot about the rep, thanked a lot of people though. I would have used it cause a lot of people here really deserved it.

ROFLMAO, I was gone and missed this.
I logged on tonight and was sorta scratching my head about a post about credits and playing the arcade games. So I searched on "reputation" and found this thread.
I agree completely about the abuse. I have, out of curiosity, checked past posts of folks who are relative new comers with few posts, and have found some with huge rep points and no more then a dozen posts that could even remotely be considered helpful lol.
I was getting a lot of rep points, and gave them Only when I actually thought that someone went out of their way to help.
I for one think the new system is fine, I don't need the credits nor did I need the rep, I always got Way more satisfaction having someone I helped, personally say a simple thanks, thats far more valuable then all the rep or credit points. But HEY! I do have enough credit to pig out at Micky D's lol I just have no idea of how to cash the check.

Once again thanks to the staff here for keeping it real.
