The driver is only needed if you have a usb to serial adapter cable.

OK, forget abouit the usb. But are you suggesting that I need a DRIVER for the UltraLite??? Why would that be? Back to the RS232-- 9 pins. I can get that to down laod but I cannot get the receiver to do anything other than give a FAIL alarm after the download is completed.
