I have Tivo S3 but it is connected to cable I also have STB connected to the same TV. Can't help with the over the air part but I can tell you I love my S3 and also my TivoHD as well. My FTA receivers are more of a hobby nothing can even come close to the picture of my S3 but my VS9000HD with 8psk looks **** good too.
