BASHING? Can you point to the post that was saying something that wasn't true?
This term bashing is used by little kids but adults?
AS a matter of fact I think folks that use that term without an education could consider themselves UNEDUCATED!

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
I don't think he was meaning this thread in specific just in general.

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
And I think the term BASHING is FAR overused by little kids to express their displeasure at the makers of the product that they brought but to whine is so much like a child.

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
Senselessly posting about bashing in the wrong thread isn't going to help anybody!. I think folks need to re asses what they expect from the hobby.
The company sucks and that is true but to complain is NOT BASHING GET IT NOW?

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
A lot of people lately are unhappy with CS it seems, but its really the code team most appear to be dissatisfied with! Time to consider and fall back unit.

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
Each brand ( viewsat, CW,SV,pansat,etc....) hires their own team of coders! (there is no doubt about this) and the level of support is directly attributed to how much the brand is willing to pay for support! it is not some sort of magical thing where we wait for the support faerie lol.
So if the support sucks, it is directly caused by the brand that is not supported!.

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
Come on Guys.. call it what you will, there has been plenty of heated discussions (is that better) about the status of Coolsat. I for one have been waiting and keeping my fingers crossed we would see a fix, on the other hand, I"ve seen lots of things reguarding to law suits so I was not sure if we would ever see another file or not. I have the 8100hd also, I"ve send many emails to coolsat asking qutestions on the HD receiver for local channels and have not heard one word back....
As for looking for another box.... I don't think that is the prudent thing right now with the switch that is going on, even Nfusion has it's ups and downs so, I don't think I'll be purchasing any other hardware until things pan out.
So, call it what you will, there has been way to much discussions and frustration on the CS line lately, but honestly, when they run, they are the best... My PVR works with out a hitch!

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
It's very simple Coolsat has decided to NOT SUPPORT some MODELS So what is the dispute?
Don't we all agree that Coolsat decided to DROP SOME MODELS? are there some folks who think differently? PLEASE speak up and TELL US why there is no SUPPORT for some models?????

Re: Coolsat Group pulls off another one!
Well, about coolsat dropping some models, yep, you are correct, but I recall when they did they offered a trade up program. I am fairly new to this hobby, I"ve been playing with it for about 1 1/2 years, at that point I purchased the CS7000pvr and with in weeks the cd7100 came on the market and I was told by a completely different manufacturer, but over the last 1 1/2 years it's been supported pretty well... and every release gives me a little more use which I am greatfull for.
at what point do manufacurers drop older models, I see lots of receivers that have gone away with no more support I guess we forget those!
Im just keeping my fingers crossed that the files keep coming until the day the "Big Switch" is turned... and after that the CS 7000 will be a great PVR for the movies I already have.. No hard feelings here.
