I will explain it for you all so there is no mistakes.

IKs type dongle that will work with 6100/7000/7100/8000/8100 to start with and they will get it to work with the 4/5/6 in a month or so afterwards or something else at that time. There was only 4 people in the usa that knew about it so its not hard to figure out who has a big mouth lol.

This dongle will also be made to work with other stbs such as orasat, homesat, visionsat and more to come.

Or cats out of the bag now.

Also I am currently testing on the cs8000 and so far so good. It works very well.

Most are preparing for the end to come or some serious down time with nagra 3. Go with what you know works best is all I can tell you.

A look at lyngsat shows that both DN & BEV are now using Nagra 3 as a parallel stream. I'm guessing for them to move to Nagra 3 they will have to change cards/receivers, is that right?

If so, what's the likely time frame on a card/receiver change.

What's the word on cracking nagra 3, is it judged, easy, difficult, imposible?

Good question. They are definitely slated to do a card change this year. They plan to do them all in an 8 to 10 month time frame. Whether this is actually rolling out N3 I am not sure as I have seen it posted that N3 requires a receiver change not just a card change. I have no idea if that is true or not. Probably some one more in the loop can tell us.

As far as IKS working with N3 that is still up in the air. Both of the main IKS camps seem sure their system will survive N3 no problem. It seems by the number of camps switching to IKS that many believe bin only receivers will not survive.

Well I just checked Abors Blog entry and it seems the card change is N3 so this is definitely happening this year as it was part of DN Annual report. It seems most camps are preparing an IKS solution to try and weather the storm.

That is true.
Rumor 2 years ago had the change over to be completed in 2009.

what is IKS mean? and my cs is not working everyhting is down file 172 is downand is no 173 so far
