CoolSat upgrade program

Effective immediately you can trade your old stb in for an upgrade to a CoolSat 6100 by sending in your old box and $79.00 U.S Dollars.

Any repairs that your stb may need for the 2 years will only cost $10.00 U.S Dollars for shipping back to you. You will need to fill out an rma and attach a copy of the upgrade paper work.
This warrant is only good for upgrades for all others the standard warranty applies.

We do apologize for any inconvenience having to upgrade has caused and hope that you choose to buy CoolSat for your future purchases.

This warranty is only good for boxes with the original factory software on it as we do not support any 3rd party software and not for clones of our equipment.

The reason for this move is because the manufacture (hubtech) has decided they will no longer support our 4/5/6 line of boxes. They may choose to release some files once they see this post but in the end they will just screw the users over again. All other STB’s are made by others that will have the support; we need for the future.
We feel very bad that we are stuck with no choice but to offer an upgrade but it is the best we can do at the time.[/quote]

I can tell you if you have a clone then please do not tell them when you fill out the paper work because they are just going to crush whatever comes in without bothering to look at it, But I am not suppose to tell you that part lol..

Also no dealers will be able to offer you this it only works thru the importer.

this is just a way for coolsat to try and redeem them selves and get back the costomers they have screwed over and over again take your coolsats and crush them yourself why would we pay to upgrade to a coolsat when you can buy a captive works 800 for $114 off ebay give your head a shake. cw have some of the best suport of any rec and that is what makes a loyal costomer keep coming back. stay strong dump coolsat.

I have 6 coolsat 6000 I PICK UP NEW IN MARCH FOR MY CUSTOMERS AND A LOT OF OLDER ONES personally I will never ever think to buy a coolsat again, IF THEY COME FREE COOLSETS HAVE JUNK SUPPORT ALL THE WAY I know that past one or 2 years they will LET YOU DOWN AGAIN WITH the support for other models, NO thank's I am BUYING a diffent brand with a company behind their product like SV HAVE MY VOTE BUYER BE WARE OF ALL COOLSETS are thay nuts

ok i box up my 1 year coolsat 5000 pay shiping $15 and $79 =$94 and they out of the goodness of there hart will send me a recever that i can buy for$120 big dill and may not support wow

Coolsat the support you gave out was appalling and laughable.
You didnt even come out and tell us that support was gone for good this time. You let us sit around waiting. Now you come out with this offer. Your company is a joke. I will never buy another box from coolsat. You have screw the users over again and again . You do not value us as CUSTOMERS. You mislead us every step of the way. Lets see what you are without customers. Thats what i think of your deal ! You lost us all because you are disrepectful of your customers needs. Why dont you stand on the corner of a street and sell your boxs then everyone knows what to expected from coolsat.

I bought a coolsat 6000 about one month ago.. man was that a mistake. I've watched TV on it for one week. In that week i thought it was great so i bought one for my son. He used he for one day and then it went down. Its my mistake because i didnt read up on coolsat before i bought it. But never again will i ever buy another coolsat reciever. they should just replace the ones i have for free. Why would i spend the time and money to get another coolsat? just so they could do this to me again...Like i said. send me then that would make it right with me.

Thanks, but no thanks, I'll just use mine as paper weight and buy CW or VS perfer CW-800 PVR for 139.97 us dollars. better deal for the money don't you think?

3yr ago I got my coolsat5000 for $250.00. Now I pick up a cw800pvr for $120.00 with pvr, and when we wait for a fix. I can still watch my recorded stuff untill a fix comes out. WOW things have change over the yrs, COOLSAT is dead!!

Ok so are cs4/5/6 are junk why is the conversion to skyveiw not easy to find on this site? i paid hard earned cash for my coolsat and crushing or destroying your unit to punish cs ? if you have the direct link to change the cs doorstop into another brand its worth a try even if you end up with a converted doorstop

This shows us what they think of their customers. Who in their right mind would accept this offer. There are several recievers $150 or less, available with excellent reccomendations and excellent support. Am I missing something?

As a coolsat owner myself, my opinion and advice is to stay away
from Coolsat, do not buy them, no matter what model, not even for
half of the price, hell with them.
