New fix for all COOLSAT boxes
So here's the deal, I go down to my local FTA store today and the sales person tells me that they are having a blow out sale on all COOLSAT boxes. I inspected the boxes and made my choice. I picked up two believing this was a bargin price. I get home and take them out of the boxes and install them both. I am so happy at the price I got them for I tell all my friends but to my complete shock they tell me I'm a fool and just got taken. They tell me COOLSAT boxes don't work and there are no FIXES and there for I paid too much. I told them I didn't know what they were talking about but I said " the salesman gave me the instuctions for the fix when I bought the box. I followed them to the tee placing one behind each tire of my car to prevent it from rolling back down the drive way. They work great and for .25 cents each I think I got a bargin!"

Re: New fix for all COOLSAT boxes
How weird! I picked my up last year and I've found the cord to short and in a stiff breeze the boat still drifts.

Re: New fix for all COOLSAT boxes
Well, cute post, but honestly, what receivers are working right now, I have searched other forums and it seems most of them are having "Scrambled Channel" issues. I've had good use out of my coolsat, matter of fact, I still use my 8100hd to record my OTA HD shows that none of my other receivers will record, so I feel like I am still getting use out of it!
So, if you folks are enjoying bashing the coolsat, perhaps you can share with us what receviers are working at least 75% on Bev and or DN? So far, I can't seem to find any! ( If I can find one then I would not hesitate to buy another, but right now I can't find one that will even do what I am with my 8100hd with the OFF the Air Shows).

its called letting off some steam...... ....some of us are just frustated right now,and this is a way to let off a little of that frustration.by the way i also have a cw700 and its running just fine. i does freeze for a few secounds about once a hour or so , but at least you can watch it.....but lighten up, just having some fun with the cs right now, at least its good for that
