Re: coosat4000,5000,6000, 6100
I have a coolsat 6100 and i know how every one feels but the time every one has been crying they could have order a new stb. Nothing last forever. You should alwalys have a back up stb remember it is called (FREE) TO AIR
By bashing the coders want make it come up any faster.

Re: coosat4000,5000,6000, 6100
I agree with you, it is free to air, and having a second/backup receiver is a very good thing. My Coolsat 7100 has been tossed aside. (paper weight!)

Re: coosat4000,5000,6000, 6100
Well all I have to say is that I have 1 Coolsat 5000, 1- 6100 & 2 -6000 and I cannot complain as they have served me well in the past. I got my monies worth. I now use Sonicview 8000 and Kbox Plus , they both rock as does the Viewsat receivers. If Coolsat comes back then great otherwise I say thankyou to Coolsat and move on.

yes it would be nice to know if more files will be released or not,, it has been some time since last file,,, rocketrod ,,take a look at nfusion or sonicview,, u may want to get one of them ,, they both have good support,,with n3 coming,,perhaps the nfusion maybe the best choice at the moment,,just my opinion

Re: coosat4000,5000,6000, 6100
Guys, turn on your cs6100 please and tell me what you've got. I watched for an hour on my lunch break and there were only a couple of very short glitches. A few days ago the same unit was frozen more than it was on. Hope this helps some. Won't hurt to look.

Re: coosat4000,5000,6000, 6100
Same here. And then less than 30 secs. From what it was, I can live with this for sports, news and such. It'll probably stay this way till they hit again.

What unit do you have? I have a 6100 private with 217. no luck for me. works for half an hour and then scrambles.

Re: coosat4000,5000,6000, 6100
Same unit and it still glitches but only for about 15 - 30 seconds. much better than last time I checked it was off more than on. i wouldn't want to get involved in a great movie but for news and sports, not too bad. I just thought this info might help some. Good luck.
