Re: Question regarding template file

Thanks for the info -- exactly what I was looking for!

I just finished mounting a Dish500 and running two lines to the 360. Wasn't able to acquire the birds yet (I am working alone and don't have someone to watch the screen while I twist & tilt.... bummer) but I was seriously impressed at the setup screens and how easy the config procedure is, even allowing for the somewhat amusing language quirks in the manual. At present I am getting "noise" but no channels. Oh well, I guess I was hoping that my Boy Scout experience with a compass would finally be put to good use .....

Now, further to the 91 option. I am new to DSS but am a bit of a techhead. If I want to preserve the ability to watch-and-record after I add 91, how does this sound:

- Add a second dish with dual output for 91
- Add two switches, one on each downline. The tuner-1 one would switch between 110 and 91, while the tuner-2 one would switch between 119 and 91.

If there's a superior solution, I'm all ears......
