No problem. Here's the difference and hence why you need a Universal outside of North America:
Standard and Universal LNBs are both Linear LNB's. A Standard has a frequency range from 11.7GHz to 12.2GHz, and is used in North America only. A Universal has a frequency range of 10.7GHz to 12.75GHz, consisting of a hi and lo band. This is more popular in Europe and the Middle East because their satellites broadcast within the 10.70GHz to 12.75GHz range.
