I used to pay for that stuff for dtv when the codes were available for that and I had a few cards and believe me...I noticed the difference. The more the card got zapped, the darker the gold would get.
So yes, in some cases, the cards do go bad.

You simply had a hot connection on your eeprom reader inside your IRD...lol...Simple hex code absolutely will NOT bake a card...speedy1966
