here is a good example why buddy arbor wont steer you guys wrong.
through researching,iv found a question dated:
06-28-2007 regarding sonicview discontinuing the sv1000.
the question dated 06-28-2007:
I read that the 1000 was discontinued. Is that true, and what's that mean concerning future support? The 1000 is a fine box IMO, for standard definition.
the response dated 07-03-2007:
Hi all,
We will still supports all Sonicview model regardless still in production or discontinued. SV-1000 and SV-4000 are two different box, and not the same alike most think. The PVR-1000 also ended it production and we still update with features, because it can handle without problem, this should answer to all rumor flying around that we only add update feature to newer box to push the sales, it is completely wrong by unreasonable individual.
With what already in the SV-1000 now, it surpass every other box in it class, but all box does have limitation. And we do not see it best to add something could result in unstable of the box. We are still looking to it, if we can figure out a way to add it in and have the box running smooth, we will release it.
Ciao
