It appears as if there are no keys
I've just picked up a CW3000 and I think I'm almost there. So far, I've installed 1.0.1.1 as well as the 09-11 softcam. I have only hooked up 110 through a diseq and have scanned it. I get all the channels that should be there as well as the EPG populates. It's as if the keys are not rolling. Is there any way to verify the keys? Does anyone have any ideas where I should head. The only thing I haven't done is pick up a hard drive for it yet. Does something need to be written to the HD in order to decrypt? I've had a Platinum, VS7000, coolsat and pantec so I've got a little experience but this baby is a whole different beast. Any ideas?

Re: It appears as if there are no keys
Thanks for the quick replay Arboristman. I'm just getting back into this tonight and I noticed that I didn't unzip the 10-08 file. I've done this now and am trying to install the file via the USB port on the front of the machine. It finishes th install and then gives me the following error message:
Could Not Install File
SHA1 file verification failed. Exiting update
Any ideas where I should be heading? Thanks in advance

Ok, I got it all working. It looks like it was just a bad file. Thanks for your help.

Re: It appears as if there are no keys
Hi Everyone,
I am getting the same error "SHA1 file verification failed. Exiting update". I have tried different file from different sites, but same problem for all of them. Can anyone help? I am trying to install CW3000-sc-update-04-10-2.tar.bz2. Its not working.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Shaukat
