First thing you must realize is that you have to have both computer and CW3000HD unit connected to a LAN (Local Area Network) also known as a "Home Network."

Step One)
Once the program is installed on your computer, you have to input three fields of information to connect to the CW3000HD as follows. These fields are case sensitive so type them exactly the same. In the first field you will have to furnish the CW3000HD's IP address, and to do that you have to go into the Admin profile on the unit and find it. Here is where you can find it: "Admin\Configuration\Network Setup then press the "Red Button" on the remote and it will give you your IP Address for the CW3000HD.

Host name: "Your IP address from step one."

User name: root

Password: cw3000hd

Now your logged into the CW3000HD in the root folder. There is a drop down box in the top right corner or pressing the arrow up in the directory will move you up one level. That's it your done, navigate to any folder you need and your all set.

***NOTE: When installing WinSCP software you will be asked for your preference of view, if your used to working with Windows Explorer, use that view. As you will find it more comfortable to work with. After you input those fields hit "Save" and you'll be able to login to the unit without typeing everything again.
