SHA1 validation error: Please Help

Tried to install latest update found on this site. I followed instructions and loaded all correctly up through 2/21's fix. All updates AFTER that (2/25, and the two 3/06s) result in a failure to update SHA1 file. I even reimaged the CW3KHD and did the combinations of updates and fixes.

http://www.abadss.com/forum/453-cw-3...e-loading.html shows that no one has bothered to input further information on what could be going on. Therefore forgive me for starting a new one to perhaps capture someones attention.

No other site seems to have a definitive answer either, including the offical CW3KHD that appears to be down right now. Anything anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated .

Ok I don't know if you found an answer on this error, but I just got my stb and have had the same thing. I finally figured out that I was unpacking the initial rar file...DO NOT DO THIS! Once you download the original rar file extract it to your usb stick (inside the file is the compressed update and and install file). Load the stick in stb and install. You should then see the display that the update unpacked correctly, followed my successful update load. Hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out.

Yeah I did figure that out. Thanks. Nonetheless It wouldn't unpack and install the fixes 2/25 thru 3/06. I had to wait until 3/18 fix for SHA1 to go through. Now I'm discovering that certain channels don't get picked up during scan. To avoid repeating all this just check out the thread "Support for cw3000 rev2?" where I detail my current findings.

In any case thank you for addressing the issue here. Hopefully I'll have the rest of my concerns figured out soon.
