Re: Unsupported file format
Did you format the memory stick before you loaded the file on it? format fat32 hard format and try again. Also you want to load the file on the stick unzipped.

Just extract all the Bin file. And don't forget to format your USB stick to format32.

Re: Unsupported file format
Ok I have the stick formatted and rar installed. I get to the stb install and it says "could not install...a good system file is 1.0.1.0 or better"

Double click on the rar file it will open in winrar. Just drag the file/files to your UBS.

Re: Unsupported file format
Try logging onto a ftp site and download the latest sc 03-18 directly from there. Worked for me

Re: Unsupported file format
Well I don't know what I did but it finally took. After using ethernet to d/l from ftp site and still no luck I broke down and burnt the iso image onto disc and put it in drive. The machine froze and I had to hard reboot it. After coming back up it had the update. I added the 3rd party code using usb, but had to use one of the back ports to get it to take. Dumb luck!
