sha1 failed - ABA DSS

Having trouble installing latest file. Download and unzipped the 410rev2 update and it shows 2 files install.sh and the bz2 file. Was it packed wrong or am I doing something wrong? I get Could Not Install File Sha1 file verification failed. Exiting Update Message when I try to install.

Do not unpack the file. Clcik on the file link, slect save, save to your usb stick, then load into your stb.

I am also having problems with the file,i did everything and tried loading the file direct to my usb stick,but it still shows as a zip file,and not a tar file.Any more sugestions Rodnandrie,thanx.Shur am glad i got that hard drive,atleast i have lots of recordings to watch.

Usually the problem is when the user (me) unpacks the downloaded zip/rar file. If you can click the download and save to usb stick that usually works. For some reason on this update I just had the same issue as mentioned above. I am still a noob at this so I tried a variety of ways. I don't know if it is because the file is a zip instead of a rar, as I use Winrar, but I could not get the file on usb to work. I was able to find the file on a ftp site and just used ethernet cable to download directly.

The file is in zip format it has to be in bz2 to install on 3000. A direct to the file you found would be appreciated rodnandria

I have searched other sites,but all files are in the same unsuported format(zip).

I am having the same problem as all of you are. Hopefully we'll hear something soon from somebody who knows what's going on and can help us fix it.

All files when posted on fta websites are zipped. We as users have to unzip them to get them into their loadable format. This file is in bz2 format once you unzip it so there is something else that is happening that causes the verification failure.

Simply repack the archive - install.ch file is outside the .tar .
I did it and....voila !

I tried the link that you attached and it didn't work for me. I don't know how to repack a file. Are there directions somwhere to do this?
