Exclamation what dish?

I am a little confused and am wandering what is that best dish/comfiguration to use with the skywalker tuner? I have a friend who tried to hook his DVB card to a 1000 (with 1 single and a dual dp plus, lnbs) and he did not have any luck with thatconfiguration at all. He could not get a signal on his cw3000, but he hooked up another reciever to that and he was able to get all channels. So my question is, could the cw3000 (w/skywalker) accept a dp34 or dp44 switch or could it only accept a DISEq switch? Thank you.

Thats a dish pro plus, many recivers have troubles with it.There real power hogs thats the problem. Go get some DTV or lagacy twins and a chieta heavy duty diseqc and your good to go! The DP44 is better becaus it uses a power inserter, but if you dont have it allready it would be cheaper just to change LNBs.

the dish 1000 and the 1000.2 are power hogs but with one line running to your receiver you should not any problem as long as you are using rg6 and it is less than 100' of cable i would check your cable connectors you might have a bad connection. you can use the dp34/44 if you are using more than 1 receiver. good luck and have fun

Do you run the 3k? I dont think so from your answer. This is a computer with DVB cards there it not nearly enoff power from the 3k to run a DP plus LNB. Only a powerd switch will work with the DPs!
