Cnannel not available after 7,11 update - ABA DSS

I have been testing my cw3000 fro 9 months know,i have a 33 inch dish motorized and an invacom lnb,i have her tuned into 4 sats and runs great...until i installed the 7,11 update.I installed the update as i have many times before,after my restart i went into my sat and when i tried to open a channel it said unavailable,on all birds.I went into rescan all birds and all was fine untill i tried to open a channel,again said channel unavailabe.I just finished restoring my system,made shure all the system information was write installed hard drive,rescaned birds,and still no channel available.Can my tuner or video card or lnb be fried?I do not think lnb since i am able to scan.Any help would be greatly apreciate

I am having the same problem! I have been trying the same things and I have no channels available. HELP!

i know it sucks,i bypassed the sat motor and concentrated on one bird,i installed update that worked before.I am able to open all the channels but blank screen,frustrated as hell.Did yours go sideways after the new update,If yes maybe the site mods should be addresing this post,i thought maybe i hit some key wrong,but like i said before i have updated files many of times before,and never this.I am so lost i dont now if i will be able to find my bank next month when my payment is due to this site.support would be nice.

hey bbal3501 i found the answer i was looking for,here was the fix to my problem......Menu/System/System-setup/VDR-Installation/Plugins-Setup/sc . Then check to see if "Active on DVB card:" has a proper # that corresponds with the adapters you have installed. eg: ATSC card #1,DVB card # 2 and so on.hope this helps you and others with same problem.

I assume you require a wireless key board to enter the above commands. Do you have a fix that is working as of this moment. I was able to make the channels available by enabling adapters within the admin area. but black screen. EPG is fully functional and signal strength is above 90% up to 100%.

folks I am still not having any luck. What version of OS are you all running. I noticed on the CAPTIVEWORKS site that they have 1.4 out. Anybody trying this version. Claims to have fixes. I still get Channel unavailable on most channels. Only express view help available.

folks I went to the captive works site and they advised to change my input to inner connector from outer and enable inner adapter , disable outer and voila I am back up and running

I am having this problem again. This fix has worked in the past but the sc option is not showing up underneath the Plugins-Setup menu anymore. I can't seem to get it to show up. Any suggestions???
