trying to recieve 61.5w sat
I'm getting about 80 and 67 for values shown in the signal information screen, but all the channels are stop and go. Some just black out and then I get media not available. I;m in SW Ontario using a 24 inch dish, no switch just one lnb hooked up. Do I need a larger dish? Or is it a code thing/3000hd bin ect... Thanks

Re: trying to recieve 61.5w sat
should get a better Quality man.
got 61.5 on a 18" dish with 75%Q and close to 100 channels.
Your dish is okay and you can get 100+ channels(HD include)
Post your settings here

Re: trying to recieve 61.5w sat
Ok sounds good. I am using just one lnb in a digiwave 4 lnb holder, shouldn't matter though? Would it make a difference if I just used a single in the end of the mast?

Think is better to aim without the bracket.

Re: trying to recieve 61.5w sat
Well I am recieving a better signal after tweeking the dish but HD channels are coming in one frame at a time. My str ( not sure what that stands for) is 87% and my snr is 73%. A couple of things seem weird, when I edited my attennae settings from 119 and 110 to just 61.5 and scanned it looks like all the 119 and 110 channels in the guide are still there? How do I clean out the old settings with the 3000hd box? Also when I press menu to see my signal strength it minimizes into the top right hand corner? Thanks for your help guys.

Re: trying to recieve 61.5w sat
still with that str/snr % you are getting your HD channels should be choppy on 61.5, thats what I have...have you fixed it yet....and do your HD work perfect without any freezing?

Nope, have to buy a bigger dish, thinking of a motorized unit say 36inches wide. Not too many 3000hd owners on this site, seems like.
