CW4000 wont roll keys.

Hi. I just got the cw4000, its all setup...everything looks good there. But no matter how long I leave it... it wont roll the keys... another oddity too, is the guide... the guide is all there, but anytime I try and view a channel... it says... channel not available*even though I see it in the guide* and then flashes back to channel 101

Can you enter keys manually on the CW4000

In case your wondering...im no expert with fta.. but Im no stranger to them either...Ive plenty of experience with fta, roms, jtag's etc..

We have a chat but it's not for tech talk, too many tech questions start confusing everyone, when you're answering someone, someone thinks the answer is for them and it's not.

I have the newest bin. 11-11. Its nothing simple or obvious... Id like to figure out how to enter the keys manually... apparantly you can do it with the 3000, but the instructions with the 3000 doesnt work or even come close on the 4000

Press the Menu button then navigate as follows:
6 System...
1 System Setup
1 VDR-Installation...
9 Plugins-Setup...
1 sc

Turn "Update Keys (AU): to off.
I have done this to get it to work,,if you want to mannel put your keys in do this to the letter,,

now check this first, go to Admin screen first, go to updates, hit enter please go down to system and hit enter please...If you have Captive works 1.0.1.9 next roll Sc .0.6.2.08.01 you are in good shape..

Go to menu under any profile, example . USER go to any open Channel ,, press in this order
menu 6,{system} 1,{system-setup} 1,{VDR-Installation] 9,{Plugins-Setup} 1{SC }.. ok in that order now it will say sc {0.6.2 } - A software emulated cam. Number may be different..
hit enter on that one only !!!! do NOT TOUCH ANY OTHER ONE OK IT will come up and say
UPDATE KEYS {AU} <ACTIVE CAIDs> USE YOUR RIGHT ARROW ON YOUR REMOTE AND TURN IT OFF

REboot system . then you can enter the keys in the instrustion that I put on here !!!..
