few questions about CW 4000
I have a few questions about the cw 4000 hight def reciever. does this reciever have the blind satellite scan? or do you have to put the frequency manual in it? is this up on I K S NETWORK? like the nfusion and neosat. with this being a high def reciever will it work with regular t.v without high def ? i know it want pick up high def channels but does it have capability to be hooked up to a regular t v set? will this box work with dial up internet connection ? i was thinking adout getting a TRIPLE DRAGON reciever but i saw this one and it seems the support is better on this one. is there any site that shows a back picture of this reciever the cw4000? i appreciate any input.

Re: few questions about CW 4000
now as it says it does not have a dial up but if it has a extra pci slot you could put one in and you will need a hard drive .. really if you are not great with linux it could be more of a problem to use ..with the recievers that run HD and the pvrs with them you are getting the same thing but more as a computer .. if you want you could build one yourself if you are good with computers
as for what you get in it i think it is a great price because to build one like it could cost you more and the skywalker card does HD for dn so you are ready to go ..
an yes the skywalker has blind scan
as for iks i don't think so but it would be easy for them to do it as it has a ethernet plug already ..
and yes it will get all the channels as any recievers out there .. ease of usse not sure maybe someone who has one could chime min .. i have a media center box with linux and as i said if you are not up on linux it could give you problems ..

No blindscan on CW 4000
I asked the question about CW4000HD blind scan on CW's support site. CW4000 does not have blind scan capability.
I do not know if this is something that can be added at a later time or through bins, but the way it comes, there is no blind scan functionality.

Why do you need blind scan? Are you confusing auto scan? 99% of FTA recevers have blind scan and for fta'ing its not used! Maybe a better explanation of your use, and someone can shed some light on it for you?
