Step by step "How to setup Coolsat 7000" PDF File
It took me awhile to put everything together, but here you go. I'll try to make it as easy as possible . Step by step with all the screen shots.

after reading manual and Carpenter1's easy setup,I believe dish is set up right
under either dish setting or positioner setting screen on the coolsat 7000,
on the level bar, I get an orange bar of 86%.
But I only get 0% on the quality bar and a search finds no channels at all.
dish issue or software issue or both?

I believe the problem is the dish, not the bin

Were can I find the most updated BIN. I used the one you post I think it was 1.06V. Now I can't view any channels?

The latest bin is 106, there is no new one. Check all your dish setup again... it should work, if you have it's right. Also you need to turn on your Autoroll. Press Menu ===> Dish Setting ===> Option ===> Echostar or BEV Autoroll "on". Press exit, Save "yes". Wait few mins for the unit updating the new keys

do you have the usb key? if so then all you do is download the file to where ever you want it then open the file make sure it is not still in zip then open my computer go to where it says removable device open it then drag the file into the remomable device then your key is loaded,,,,then take the usb key put it in back of your coolsat receiver a box will pop up on your tv screen with the file name click your red button on your remote to download it. then it will restart. actually i am no pro at this their is a step by step guide in the threads just locate the how to thread.
