Method to Do Fast Rew or Skip Found !

Either in Time Shifting or while Playback of recording, do the following :
Hit Play button. This will bring the time bar on the screen. Now hit volume buttons (left one will rew 20 seconds backwards, right button will few 20 seconds forwards immediately) to achieve the results. Repeated hitting of volumn button will allow quick movement of cursor on the time bar effectively allowing one to move to any point of recording without going through the very slow >> or << buttons !.. Holding the volume button continuously will actually have a very fast cursor movement on time bar.

Or Punch a % number, for instance enter 50% to go at 50% of the length of the recording... Sometimes useful...

Should I be getting any channels through auto roll at this time on my cs7000 and if so, how do I go about this?

Thanx.... another question then. How do I switch to DN, I here it has channels up. Do i choose 88.? and what will my azimuth need to be adjusted to?

You need to aim your sat at the D*SH satellite and enter the proper settings. Search the forum and you will find a ton of info regarding the settings. But bottom line is you have to physically move the position of your sat from a few degrees...

I am sorry buy why is this being discussed in here... I hate people that hijack threads, not to mention a sticky. Bev is down, and DN is up, if you want to get DN then read about it throughout the many threads, use the search feature if you have too. If then all else fails start your own thread relevant to the question at hand, don't go to a "how to Fast Fwd or Rew" thread.
