how is 195 behaving

I loaded 195 and watching tv. (charlie)
so far pretty good. very few to no chirpypops
the one problem w 195 that I am having is that when it scrambles it doesn't roll out of it. Stays frozen on the screen until I hardboot.
what determines whether a roll will dynamically correct or necessitate a hardboot?

all the bins I down loaded has all failed for me so far..so I will keep checking for up-dates..floating102..

Tafelice, I tried something strange and it seems to have worked partly. I uploaded the factory file through a thumb drive as I dont have the rs232 cable and then uploaded the new bin for cs 7k and did a factory reset. Although, this may not be the exact procedure it seems to have worked somehow in my case. However, my STB did not pick up all the channels and I am missing a great deal of those that I used to get previously. Are you able to give me an idea of the original configuration for STB 119 & STB 148 DN so I can try reconfiguring the system & see if it able to capture all those missing channels?

veejay, I'm surprised your usb worked. I guess you used a different stick. Is that right?? As to your other questions I am sort of a newbie. [to paraphrase a funny story, I haven't had 24 months of fta experience, I've had 1 month of fta experience 24 times]. I'm looking at 110. I can't give you a clue on 119 and 148. Post your question in Coolsat 7000 Help section. Or in that section look at old threads where someone with our box was setting up for 119 and/or 148. Good luck.
