196 with USB?
Has anyone found out if this works or not? It has not worked for me, I've done a factory reset and all...and nothing yet
I don't have the correct rs232 cable so I can't do it that way (by the way, can someone link me to a site where I can buy the 232 cable for the cs7000).

Out of curiosity, how can I tell which one is the correct one? I've got a black cable that looks similar to that...both ends look exactly the same....there is an arrow pointing which way is up, there are 9 holes, on the top row 5 holes, on the bottom row 4 holes.

Re: 196 with USB?
some use a straight through cable and some use a null cable
the ony way to test would be with an omh meter
a null cable has 2 wires crossed i think it is 1 & 6

Re: 196 with USB?
Is this to say that the USB bin update is not working with the CS7000? That might explain why I seem to have everything right but get nothing but scrambled.........
