CS7000 Now dead???
I originally purchased a used CS7000 and it was already flashed and I was receiving almost all channels.
I wasn't receiving all movie channels so I decided to load the newest bin file. At the time it was NORW 211. Since I loaded that bin file, the CS7000 doesn't work.
It will not even show satellite signal. If I load the factory bin (fact 114 or fact 116) it will show signal but only bounce around 46% to 60% with no quality.
Since then I have loaded all the new bin files upto NORW 214 and still there is no signal.
Did I just kill this box?

Re: CS7000 Now dead???
I am using a dish pro 1000.2 with three LNBs on the CoolSat Disecq switch. When I loaded the new bins, I don't change any other settings except for letting the box do an auto scan of the birds. Since it doesn't show any signal, it just comes back with no satellites found. I took the box to my local satellite expert and hooked it up to his known working dish and it does the same thing. No satellites found. What settings specifically would you like to know?

Re: CS7000 Now dead???
The 1000.2 dish, doesn't require the Coolsat switch, it has a switch inside the LNB system, that you can not see.
Post your ANT settings so that we may review them.

Re: CS7000 Now dead???
You'll want to ensure that your ANT setting look like this:
110
LNB type - OCS-DP
LNB freq - 11250
22khz - off
LNB power - on
transponder - 12224
search option - all
network search - on
disqec - port 2
motor -off
legacy switch -off
For 119,
LNB type - OCS-DP
LNB freq - 11250
22khz - off
LNB power - on
transponder - 12239
search option - all
network search - on
disqec - port 1
motor -off
legacy switch -off
For 129,
LNB type - OCS-DP
LNB freq - 11250
22khz - off
LNB power - on
transponder - 12282
search option - all
network search - on
disqec - port 3
motor -off
legacy switch -off

Re: CS7000 Now dead???
Thanks for all your help. Turns out that the box burned out. I talked to coolsat repair and they said that the cs7000 only outputs 400ma to power lnb's and the dish 1000.2 needs 500ma. Is this true?
