NORW support for CoolSat?
It has been a while since support for other brands came out for the lastest ECM. Will NORW be supporting coolsat soon? I have checked other sites also and still no help for CS owners. Anyone have any information?

Re: NORW support for CoolSat?
Would you recomend switching to another brand. It seems like PanSat, SonicView, and a couple others have better support.

Re: NORW support for CoolSat?
It is always recommended that you have at least two receivers, each from a different Mfg. This way if one goes out or gives you trouble, you can swap in the other unit.
A CaptiveWorks 700 unit (as an example) can be had for about $95.00 - $100.00, might be money well spent.

Re: NORW support for CoolSat?
This is the update from Norw Group: They say they know everyone is sitting on the edge of their seat waiting for the fix. Working around the clock with 2% to go ,that being the hardest part! Will be working around the clock for the new fix and possible a new loader will be released. Hope this info is usefull my 8100 is waitng too....

Re: NORW support for CoolSat?
If a new loader is released, what does that mean? Not just a new file?

Re: NORW support for CoolSat?
I'm a bit tried of the support or the lack of support for these units but will put up with it until N3 is dealt with. At that time I will vote with my pocket book. I have a CW600p as a backup and it is a cheap alternative.

Re: NORW support for CoolSat?
Guys I am in the same boat with a 7000 but before you buy anything right now, wait until we see what happens once we switch over to n3 fully. Who knows which team will have the support then, or with what models are even able to decode the n3. This is what I am going to do.
P.S. Remember this is only a hobby, if it is not that way for you then you may want to subscribe!
