Can the Neusat 9000HD become a clone reciever?
I been wondering if its possible to transform this reciever into another one?
Like a Pansat 9000HD?  |

Supposedly the Neusat 9000 HD and the Captain 8000HD share the same motherboard. I tried loading the captain fix to the neusat-but message cameup saying wrong model code... I am hoping to vercome this one day and then maybe the Orphansat 9000 HD will work again...

What if you try using the captain loader?
Only try it if you can jatagg this reciever.

i dunno guys.but if something doesn't happen i wounder if someone else will start picking up the coding for them.or if some other files can be used shows up.
best i can tell ya is to grab a BUD and scan some C band true HDfta channels if you want to keep it going.
who knows,when emu comes out perhaps neusat will make it.
its very odd there was no announcement or anything.just stopped making files.
very very odd.

Maybe the problem is somehow related to the fact that the HD coding used on D!sh is a protected technology? Just a thought. This unit has only been out since late March or early April of this year, sad that there is little support.

This reciever cannot do Dn HD.....only if there was an addon for 8psk.
Can do bev Qpsk & FTA Qpsk HD.
This reciever can do normal Dn & Bev.

Neusat makes a card reader for this receiver, because I got one with mine and installed it right away..

The data sheet I was reading for the NeusatHD indicates that a card reader comes with the unit.
Although on another site I saw had card readers for the Coolsat units for 18.00 Cdn, I wonder if they are compatible, I mean a card reader is a card reader.

hey,that arbor guy had a pretty good hunch back in December. 
as we know now,v2group will be picking up where mr.neusat left off. 
no ETA for files still.but good things to come for ya guys.
i actually thought it may have been captain/neusat merger of coding teams if this ever happened.
neosat/nuesat merger was a good surprise though.
